About Chef Sang Ae 

 

Born in Korea and raised in France, Chef Sang Ae grew up bathed in the delicacy of French gastronomy. As she grew up, her passion for food blossomed and her quest for discovering new flavors began. As she leaned into the modern Korean cuisine, Sang Ae rediscovered lost flavors of her childhood, a taste of nostalgia that inspired her.

Later on Chef Sang Ae came to San Francisco and after 20 years in San Francisco's food industry, she decided to start her own company, Trop Bon Catering.

Her creations are the product of her past, a blend of traditional French gastronomy and modern flavors of Korean cuisine topped with a Californian touch. A new insight bringing an exciting dimension to your meals!
